You've got to see
this, mate!

An overview of the events we had the pleasure to be a part of.

I was a part of a suburban summer camp at Gymnázium Česká, where I led a group of 12-year-olds in a soldering and programming workshop. I had prepared simple circuits in the shape of arrows with lights on them, and the kids eagerly got to work soldering them together. After they finished soldering, I taught them how to program the circuits using Arduino. The kids were fascinated by the possibilities of programming, and they quickly started experimenting with different code to make the lights on their circuits blink and flash in different patterns. It was an incredible experience, and I was proud to have helped ignite a passion for electronics in a new generation of young minds.

On November 24, 2022, our robotics team from Gymnázium Česká participated in the Robosoutěž competition. We had only a month to prepare,  but our three teams were ready to compete. Despite the tough competition, we ended up in a solid 13th place. The competition was a great learning experience and we are already looking forward to participating again next year.

On June 14th, we took on the Czech Rocket Challenge, where we built and launched our own rockets. One team’s rocket soared majestically and landed like a pro. The other team? Let’s just say their rocket made a beeline for the ground and created its own crater!

What a day! The Robosoutěž on November 25, 2023, was a blast. This year, our Gymnázium Česká team went solo, working independently and making us proud.

They rocked it, clinching an impressive second place and earning a spot in the grand finale. Though they didn’t win the final, their achievement was huge. Their hard work and determination really paid off. Can’t wait to see what they tackle next!
